Type K Flexible Wire Design Thermocouple for Vacuum Applications – Fast Response Exposed Design with 6ft of 30 Gage PFA Insulated Lead Wire and Miniature Ceramic Connector
- Type K thermocouple made from High Accuracy (SLE – Special Limits of Error) and Flexible 30 gage thermocouple wire and protected with a high performance plastic PFA insulation.
- Exposed Welded bead design provides precise placement and fast temperature response. The bead diameter is 0.029″ inches (0.7 mm)
- Temperature Operating range is -328 to 500°F (-200 to 260°C).
- Lead Wires are 72″ inches (6ft) long flexible small diameter 30 gage solid in a 2 wire parallel design and individually insulated with PFA (Plastic Fluoropolymer) along with a PFA outside jacket.
- Wire Dimensions – each bare wire is 0.010″ Inches (0.25 mm) diameter and is covered with.003″ inches of PFA insulation. The 2 insulated wires are also protected with an overall clear PFA jacket resulting in an overall outside diameter of .022″ x .038″ inches.
- Instrumentation Connection – a miniature male or female ceramic thermocouple connector accepting flat pins, such as those utilized on vacuum pass-thru assemblies
- Ceramic Connector eliminates possible contamination from connector outgassing in Vacuum environments and equipment.
