8 volt LED fuse lights are designed to be an exact replacement for these older stereo receivers. Back in the 70s and 80s incandescent fuse lamps were used by many companies to back light tuner and control panel displays in stereo receivers. Some of the manufacturers that used fuse lamps in their receivers and component systems include: Marantz, Sansui, Fisher, JVC, Protron, Lafayette, Panasonic, McIntosh, Pioneer, and many others.
Fuse lamps are easy to change, because there is no soldering needed. They slide in and out of a normal 1-1/4 glass fuse holder. These LED fuse lamps have multiple application possibilities, because they can work with 8 volt AC or DC. For quick lighting use a fuse holder, 9 volt battery clip, female quick disconnects and a 9 volt battery. For 12 volt use, add a 100 ohm 1/2 watt resistor and now you have lighting for inside your vehicle. With a 9 volt AC adapter you can add lighting to large scale models or doll houses.
