Surface Mounted RTD Temperature Sensor with Miniature Steel Threaded Fitting and Stripped Wire Leads
- RTD Sensor has a 1/4″ Stainless Steel Hex fitting with a #8-32 UNC 2A .297″ (7.5.mm) long Threaded Stud. The fitting transitions to PFA insulated lead wire with stripped ends.
- Temperature Operating range is -90 to 500°F (-70 to 260°C)
- Pt100 (Platinum 100 Ohm) Class A Thin Film Element encased in the Stainless Steel Fitting and secured with a high temperature epoxy.
- Lead Wire – 12 inches (1ft) or 40 inches (1 meter) of PFA (Plastic Fluoropolymer) insulated wire with stripped leads is provided for the connection to display or control instrumentation.
- Wire Construction a 3-conductor of 26 Gage Stranded (7/34) nickel plated copper. Each conductor is insulated with 500°F (260°F) rated PFA and twisted with an overall PFA jacket.
- Outside wire diameter is approx. .080″.
- Color Code is 2 black and 1 red with a white overall jacket
- Design provides accurate fast and secure surface temperature along with electrical interference immunity for applications in Semiconductor, Alternate Energy, Power Generation, Aerospace, Military and Defense, Automotive, Power Electronics, Machine Builders for Plastics Processing, Industrial Automation and other industries.
